This Month I wanted to start off by saying thank you for all the support from our clients. We at Total Eclipse Detailing could not keep doing what we love without you. To show you our thanks we have put together our new Blog to educate not only our clients but our guests. Our first blog topic this year is Interior detailing and when to schedule.
Starting Our Year Off Right
We are starting this year going into detail some reasons on how, why and when to consider getting a cleaning. So this month we wanted to talk about maintaining your interior.
Over the last fifteen years one of the most asked questions we receive is “How often should I detail the interior of my vehicle?” In short we like to say on average an interior detailing should be completed every six months.
Why spring clean Up?
Many of you may have seen something like these mats after some of those long and cold winters. Some of the white hard deposit that you may see from time to time is called calcium. This is the result of the salt that they like to add to the roads when trying to melt that white stuff. First we would like to suggest that spring clean ups be considered between the months of April – June. These months are common for getting the interior detailing and the exterior completed at the same time. You can find some of our options at https://totaleclipsedetailing.com/#
Please remember that some detailers work year round and can offer dates for you even before then, by scheduling right online like ours at
Schedule Online
Another option to add to your interior detailing is https://www.weathertech.com/ mats. We highly recommend this option to all our clients for a couple of reasons, protection and longevity. If you are interested in purchasing these before having your interior completed, you can do so with us at time of appointment.
Should you winter prep
Why should I have an Interior detailing completed in fall or early winter you may ask? Well lets start with just some of the small reasons:
- Dog hair , during the warmer weather we love taking our fur friends out and this can lead to the accumulation of major dog hair
- Sand, If your anything like my wife the Beach is the place to be when you want to get that ocean breeze on your face.
We suggest an interior detailing is completed more often to keep your cost more affordable. By completing this more than once a year the overall cost may be less as there is less dirt/grime build up. If you like doing it on your own please remember to visit our friends at P&S , on their YouTube page . Were they discus their products and how you can use them to help you keep your vehicle in top shape.
